With the completion of his self-titled debut album, emerging country artist Jason Haney has wasted no time breaking into a nearly impenetrable industry. Jason left for Nashville immediately after graduating from The Pennsylvania State University in the summer of 2010. Within a year, not only did he manage to write and record an album start to finish, but build a massive online following through social media networking. Recently, Jason has partnered with The Nashville Film Institute for the recording of his very first music video. “I absolutely refuse to take no for an answer,” Jason says. “This has been a remarkable journey already, and I know that it has just begun. All I want is to write a song that changes somebody’s life,” he says. There’s no slowing down in Jason’s future.  He’s working diligently with world-class producer Chris Trevett on his next studio album, which is sure to garner even more success than the first. The last several years has brought a complete overhaul to the face of country music, and Jason is showing every intention of making his mark on an industry that few get a chance to be a part of.
