Here's How It Works:

Nashville Film Institute students regularly shoot music videos to add to their reels. That means they need great musicians. NFI thought we'd shake things up a little and make it into a competition. Every three months or so the Nashville Film Institute picks one artist or band, and with them make THREE versions of a music video for one song. We then upload the videos to a page like this one and open it to votes. Whichever video gets the most votes by your fans and the friends and fans of NFI ends up being the official video for that song.

To be considered: contact NFI with your name, your facebook page (and any other social or band pages that have your music), and a short description why you would like to be the selected artist. New artists are selected on an ongoing basis, so please be patient after contacting NFI, it might be 2-3 months between video shoots depending on the production schedule. Please note that we are only able to contact the artist who has been selected.

Terms And Conditions:
Factors for selection include the number of "fans" on your social network pages. This is important to ensure that each video gets enough votes to determine a clear winner. NFI recommends at least 3,000. The music video production, storyboarding, directing, shooting, editing, etc. is completed by the students. However, NFI does not cover any additional costs that might be required by the project (i.e. insurance, additional equipment rental, additional props, etc.)
